My name is Cheryl and I’m a lifelong resident of the Portland area. I’ve always loved history, and although there are a number of great blogs and websites focusing on the history of Portland, the outlying areas don’t get covered much, so I started this blog. There is a lot of interesting history to be found in the greater Portland area, so although I will cover some Portland history here, I plan to focus on Clackamas and Washington counties.
